The London Surf / Film Festival, the UK's annual celebration of international surf culture, returns to Riverside Studios from Thursday 5 to Saturday 7 November. Founded in 2011, it brings three nights of documentaries, travelogues, shorts and talks, with titles including Fault Lines, Into the Light, Thread (with Q&A), Language of Water and Vampires Surf. Evening passes include a drink, and the first 50 pass holders each night get a tote bag. The Saturday night pass starts at 6.45pm.

The closest most of us will get to a barrel this winter, and a decent excuse to plan next summer's trip to Cornwall. Passes go quickly.
