About
Celebrate Gunnersbury Park’s centenary with this free exhibition that traces the site’s journey from a Rothschild private estate to the public park it is today. Through archive material, personal stories from former employees and local visitors, and a special interactive 'thinking tree', the show explores the park’s roles in sport, leisure, nature, music and wartime life. The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 16:30, from 28 March to 31 December 2026, and is designed for visitors interested in local history and community heritage.
Inside Chiswick's take
A warm, free exhibition for anyone who loves Gunnersbury or local history. It brings together archival stories and community memories and includes an interactive thinking tree for visitors to share their own recollections.
