An exhibition of intricately embroidered wedding shawls, baghs and phulkaris from the Karun Thakar Collection, displayed in Robert Adam's neoclassical rooms at Osterley Park and House. These textiles were made by young women in the undivided Punjab for ceremonial use and bring vivid colour, detailed handcraft and new cultural presence to the house and its stories of global trade. The exhibition runs from 23 May to 1 November 2026. Normal admission charges apply and National Trust members can enter free; booking is not needed for this display.
